Most of the houses on Bedford Road, in Barnet are hipped roofs with decent head heights.  These loft spaces are great for loft conversions and many have been done on Bedford Road.

In a short space of time the loft space can be transformed into a light and airy bedroom together with large rooflight window from the extensive Velux range of rooflights.

A staircase will lead to a bedroom, which can be fully fitted with bespoke furniture of your choosing and a fully fitted bathroom.

In this conversion, we fitted wooden French doors and a window which over-looked the rear garden so the fabulous views from large windows could be enjoyed. The French doors opened inwards to creating a great framed view of the garden.

In addition, large top hung Velux windows were fitted to the sloping part of the roof, creating a bright and fresh room full of natural light.

We fitted all the piping, wiring and insulation so this transformed a three-bedroom semi into a four-bedroom home with two bathrooms.

Needless to say the client was delighted by the conversion just as much as we were.
