Can my Loft be converted?
Most lofts can be converted whether they are trussed roof or purlin. The most important factor is ridge height (the distance between the loft floor and the highest point in your loft). If this is at least 2.1m, your loft can be converted.
Where would the stairs be located?
The "landing zone" shown in the diagram above is 1m either side of your standing position and where typically the top of the staircase leading to your loft conversion will be.
